The 2013 British Kendama Open was held in Bristol this year. The event was held over two days (Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th of April). Saturday was a meet and greet day along with a kendama sesh through different locations in Bristol. It was a great time to meet other players from all around the world and have a fun time playing kendama. Throughout the day there were also games and competitions to help drive the day. These included games of K.E.N., Last man standing and a practice dan jam. Prizes for the day were sponsored by Sweets Kendama and also Krom Kendama. A big thanks to them for donated prizes. The day was finished off with a meal and great banter from everyone.

Sunday was the main competition day held in a local church hall in Bristol. During the day there were also mini games similar to Saturday. There were 5 categories of competitions on the day; Beginner, Intermediate Speed Ladder, Advanced, Dan Jam and Best Trick. The level from all players in their chosen category was very good and the results from all the competitions are listed below. Prizes from the day were sponsored by Kendama Europe and Yoko Warburton (Craftybuddy) and Cash Prizes were sponsored by the BKA. A big thanks to them for donating to a great event.
