居合いとめけん – “Iai Tomeken”


A slight variation on the basic Kendama spike trick, this one starts in the same way, with you holding the Ken and the ball hanging down only this time raise your arm high in the air. This is because instead of lifting the Ken to make the ball come to the Ken, you rapidly move the Ken down so it goes to the ball. Quickly move the ken under the ball and as gravity starts to take effect you’ll be able to achieve a spike.
